Useful Info

Where does the cashew fruit come from?

Originally spread from Brazil by the Portuguese, the cashew tree is now cultivated in many tropical Countries. In the places where Cashew grows, the nut is only one of the products enjoyed by the local populations. The cashew "apple" fruit is an edible food rich in vitamin C, calcium and iron, which can be eaten fresh from the tree or it can also be squeezed for fresh juice.
